Edit Hosts file in Mac OS X Lion

I have seen that the old command, that is, sudo /Applications/TextEdit.app/Contents/MacOS/TextEdit /etc/hosts no longer works inside the terminal and instead you get weird, not-so-user friendly errors.

Where did the option “pay by Paypal” go on GoDaddy?

Has somebody noticed that payment by paypal option is now gone on GoDaddy? It seems as if they are having issues with PayPal. I bet this will annoy a lot of people around as most people don’t like to give their credit card information online and thus prefer to pay via PayPal.

Let’s hope they sort out their issues with PayPal ASAP

Gizmodo has released iPhone app that shows news that has been posted on their website. For some odd reason, unlike engadget’s iPhone app, this app is not free

Need For Speed SHIFT review – iPhone/iPod Touch – with videos!

The loading times were very fast on my iPod Touch 3G and it is clear that the game has been optimized for the faster processor found in the new iPod Touch 3G and iPhone 3Gs. The menu, at first, appears a bit sluggish as compared to the NFS Underground. But, that did not bother me much as I am more concerned about the gameplay, which is what matters to the gamers.

Few new things in Need For Speed SHIFT compared to NFS Underground are:

• Automatic braking
• Adjustable accelerometer sensitivity
• More cars
• The CPU is much more smarter and harder to beet now
• No Hot Pursuits
• Gameplay appers a lot slow with slower cars, but as you move to the pricier, better cars, you are then able to feel the speed.

Now, go to the search tab and search NFS Shift Money Patch and install it. Voila!

It is axiomatic, you need your device to be jailbroken to do this patch.
